I have a few questions regarding EPBCS where it can easily map to fusion segments. When I have setup my PBCS applications in the past to connect to Fusion Financials chart of accounts, I setup a one to one mapping for each segment to a dimension in PBCS. Getting acutals and writing back budget to Fusion worked very well. With EPBCS, you are limited to only 3 custom dimensions so I would like to configure the entity dimension to combine the company, division and department segments. Can I create an import map and still bring over actuals and write back from/to fusion?
Secondly, regarding the accounts that come out of the box of EPBCS...I believe that the member names must remain the same and we can only change the Alias to match....then map it in a data load rule. Can someone confirm that ? Also, I'd like to confirm if I want to add an account, I need to add it to the parent (for example: adding another revenue account to OFS_Total Revenue under OFS_Gross Profit) then add it to the Form and Report).
