DevOps, CI/CD and Automation

Reading some post, I found this environment variable, does it exist?

I need to run some reports .rdf, these reports point to some resources as image files without referencing them with "path".

Now, they work fine in production but on my local environment they don't work unless I recompile the report adding the resources' path.

Is there a method to avoid adding path and recompilation? e.g. setting some environment variable as REP_PATH, or other?
