Entity Framework ORA-00972: identifier is too long

I'm having allot of trouble figuring out what I can do to make a ORA-00972 go away.

I have a listView with sorting/paging and depending what column name you specify in the orderBy for the query, entity framework generates invalid SQL.

I can post code/sql if needed.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
