Entities using different exchange rates for consolidations?

945068Jun 21 2012 — edited Jun 27 2012
There are two entity hierarchies within our metadata structure, and our parent company is GBP.

The first entity heirarchy has an entity in EUR, and when the fixed assets are consolidated to parent currency it is correctly calculated at the closing rate exchange rate.

The second entity hierarchy contains another entity in EUR, and when this is translated to parent currency it is not calculating correctly and using and exchange rate that is not either the closing rate, or average rate for the period.

There are no translation rules in our rules file.
The Metadata for the entities are both set up with DefCurrency as EUR. And both have direct Parents as GBP.
The accounts that are being translated both have AccountTypes set as ASSET accounts.

Does anyone have any ideas on what else may be causing the strange translations rates?

Thanks

Luke
