enterprise linux 5 doesn't have ipconfig?

Hi all - sorry if this question has been asked before - I did search the forums though and couldn't find the answer.

I hav downloaded the developer days oracle appliance and am attempting to use it to connect to another identical virtual box instance running on the same host.

but I've not been able to use ipconfig or ifconfig on either machine.

sudo ipconfig doesn't appear to work either, giving a command not found error.

thoughts?
