First of all, I am a student new to servers but not computing. Ive been building my own machines for many years but none of that knowledge contributes to this unique e3500 that I picked up a few days ago. Hopefully someone is familiar with this model.

The problem: I have no power to the machine. turning on the AC power switch from behind I hear a clicking sound somewhere in the system but no lights go on. I turning the key, still nothing works. machine is completely dead.

Obviously to me, my first thoughts were to go out and buy a new power supply but its tough finding one. I found a Peripheral Power Supply in which i replaced but im still waiting for something to pop up on ebay.

In the mean time, I just want to go over any other possible solutions before going out and spending money when the whole system could just be garbage.
