Hi!
In our SLA we have sentence and obligation:
"... will ensure that maximum loss of data (RPO) at any circumstance is 20 minutes for the closed transactions, provided that Customer has saved the transaction."
This mean that we have to be able to restore database in at most 20 minutes from last committed transaction.
- We are taking online backup with RMAN
- we are taking online backup of archive logs every 19 minutes on tape (Legato backup-RMAN with catalog)
- we have in placed in init.or file: *.log_checkpoint_timeout=1200# Checkpoint at least every 20 mins., but this will not cover creation of archive logs every 20 minutes (especially in night hours).

But this doesn't create archive log but only incremental checkpoint.
My question is: how to ensure SLA to have archive logs created every 20 minutes regardless time of the day. Or there is something else that we can do...
