enqueue TC Thread Checkpoint What would be a good value

787854Jul 28 2010 — edited Jul 29 2010
Hello!

I just started analysing our database via Consol Nagios Plugin.

Now it comes to 'CRITICAL' because:

TC (Thread checkpoint enqueue)
enqueue TC Thread Checkpoint: 20.00% of the requests must wait ,

RO (Reuse object enqueue)
enqueue RO Object Reuse: 11.11% of the requests must wait ,

enqueue KO Multiple Object Checkpoint: 11.11% of the requests must wait ,
enqueue US Undo Segment: 2.89% of the requests must wait ,
enqueue XR : 0.00% of the requests must wait ,
enqueue WP : 0.00% of the reques

As I do not know much about Oracle here my question:

a) Is that value of 20% high?
b) Would that value hit the performance of the Oracle DB ?
c) If yes, what can we do about that ?

Thanks!
