enq: TX - row lock contention for Insert query

Hi All,

OS: RHEL

DB: 11gR2

We have been facing enq: TX - contention for Insert query, as far as I know generally row lock contention comes mainly during updates and deletes.

But when we have checked the SQL ID for the enq: TX - row lock contention wait event we see that this is purely an Insert Statement.

Please advise
