Encrypt mail with verisign digital ID for Netscape Messenger ?

If anyone has done this or has any good ideas on how to go about doing this please let me know. I'm trying to automate a task that requires a users send 4 seperate digitally signed and encrypted messages (each with a text file attachment) each day using the Netscape Messanger 4.75 client. This task is becomming really annoying. Any help, advise or wild speculation would be greatly appreciated.
