Enabling SSO Authentication for Identity Management

When I check the 'Enable SSO Authentication' for any application deployed on the application server, I get '499 Oracle SSO' error. I am using Identity Management (OID) and it works fine with applications in normal mode.
I will be thankful if someone comments on this.
