Enabling SQL Developer Web when REST (schemas) are already configured for APEX

SG42 days ago

We are unable to login to SQL Developer Web. We use APEX on multiple databases and have REST enabled on multiple schemas since we use REST Web Services. It appears the only thing missing is the aliasing of the Database Schema since the SQL Developer Web login is complaining about a Schema Alias.

We are unable to run ORDS.enable_schema since the schema is already REST enabled.

The error on login is:

Invalid credentials

If your ORDS schema alias is different from your username, you can set it using the "Path" input in the "Advanced" options

Is there a way to inject a schema alias into the paths file for use to get around this issue? Everything else is in place. Currently our db alias is in the paths file.

Example:

https://www.example.com/ords/db1/sql-developer

db1 is in the paths file - I want to connect to SQL Developer Web as schema1 with alias schema1

Thank you.
