I have posted a similar post on trying to enable / install LDM on OVS on the OVS portion of the forum.
May I know how should I install and enable LDM on Solaris 11.1 running in a VirtualBox with a Windows 7 as the host OS ?
I tried to go to the Package Manager to install the LDM package but it gives an error stating below:

Gathering package information
Error:
The following pattern(s) only matched packages that are not available
for the current image's architecture, zone type, and/or other variant:
pkg://solaris/system/ldoms/ldomsmanager
I wonder if it's due to LDM needing a SPARC machine to work with ?
