Enablement arguments: Pillar Vs HP

636692Mar 13 2009 — edited Mar 16 2009
Dear all

I have a customer that is facing the Migration process from Pillar to Hyperion Planning and 3 other pre-system9 Hyperion products.

The customer has challenged me with the following questions:

- if I had paid support for the past 5-9 years why I am not entitled for a free of charge S9 migration?. (of course I have explained that S9 Products are new set of different EPM products, but this is not enough for them).
- Show me functional features that does not belong to the ones already defined on the Pillar domain, in other words the features that can let me conclude that HP is a different product so I am not entitled to it so I have to pay for migration fees.
- Customer will not accept technical normal evolutionary facts as answers. (i.e. From C/S to web Enabled in not a valid argument).

I will appreciate if you can provide me the name of the Guru/Expert with most experience in Planning / Pillar.

Kind Regards,
Jorge Gutierrez
