Happy for this to be made configurable either through a service request that Oracle DevOps action or even better as a customer configuration that can be done via configuration performed in the WACS User Interface.

The favicon, which acts as a visual identifier for applications, is important for users to quickly recognize and differentiate between various applications. In the case of Oracle WACS and Oracle ERP, although both are significant applications within the business, they serve distinct functions and should be easily distinguishable at a glance.

Changing the favicon for Oracle WACS to a grey background with a red circle would provide a clear visual distinction from Oracle ERP. This differentiation is important because it helps prevent confusion, ensures a smoother user experience, and reinforces the unique identity of each application as we have just gone live with the Oracle WACS product to the business. The grey and red design aligns with the Oracle inverted logo used on the Oracle.com webpage for the WACS Application (as below), which further establishes brand consistency.

This is not just about aesthetics; it’s about making sure each tool is recognized for its specific role and functionality.

The current favicon in WACS looks like this:

The ask is to be able to change the icon to a custom icon such as the one below which would align with the icon used on Oracle's web sites such as this one: Oracle.com webpage for the WACS Application
