enable row movement

Hi experts

In my schema around 1 million tables. On holiday I enable row movement in order to shrink those tables. As it takes more time and my official days has started . Now when I m trying to disable row movement then it raise error :

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified
ORA-06512: at line 8

My question is : If I remains row movement enable then is there any disadvantage like performance , RMAN backup or any other issue that create problem?

Please share me your knowledge.
