Enable / Disable cells in IG conditionally

Roxy rollersAug 25 2020 — edited Sep 10 2020

Good day folks. This is my first question on APEX. We are on APEX 20.1 and using Universal Theme. We were on 5.0 previously which did not have the IG. I am pretty familiar with Tabular Forms but not IG's. I have been looking online but not really making much headway.

I have an IG which has several text fields. Some of these text fields need to be enabled / disabled for data entry and it depends upon another field. I have an IG for storing addresses.

I have the following columns:

Source

Street

City

State

Zip Code

If Source = 'HOME' or 'WORK' then all the cells (Street, City, State and Zip Code) should be enabled for data entry.

If Source = 'UNKNOWN' then all cells (Street, City, State and Zip Code) should be disabled.

This behavior should happen on Page Load or Get Focus (Since I am enabling IG in edit mode and focusing cursor on first row) when all the rows in the Grid are displayed and it also when user changes the Source from 'HOME' to 'UNKNOWN' or vice versa. I have been trying to loop through the model but I can't seem to be able to access the row. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
