EMGC not alerting the WLS status

Hi All,
We are using OEM 11g to monitor our weblogic server. Yesterday we noticed that when the WLS status change from Running to Admin Mode due to db issue the EMGC did alert this issue in the EM dashboard. Is there anyway to created a Script or UDM to monitor the status of WLS. Thank you
