EMC PowerPath doesn't start on boot

User754933-OracleOct 23 2009 — edited Nov 2 2009
This is a mystery. For a while it worked, but now I see no PowerPath startup on
boot. There IS a PowerPath script for starting in /etc/init.d but nothing kicks it off.
/etc/rc.sysint has nothing there related to PowerPath and chkkconfig --list does not
yield anything either.

I can mount the SAN partitions manually with /etc/init.d/PowerPath start
and then "mount -a" but that's ridiculous.

At what stage should PowerPath start? Where does it get inserted? What could have
erased this? It used to work.
