Email Grouping in UCM10g

The emails are grouped in UCM using their subject. In such cases if the subject of the two seperate emails are same then the grouping mechanism will include both the emails under same grouping.
I want to group the emails using the Message ID header value since it has the right track of an email conversation.
Please advise me how to resolve this issue. Can we configure the grouping mechanism manually or any custom component implementation required..
