Email Alert using Informatica

Hi,

Informatica 8.6.1 on Linux server. I configured a task to send success/Fail email alert but it's not working. looks like SMTP configuration is not done at server level. I'm getting following error after running session in sess logs.

Extended MAPI Error. MAPIInitialize failed, return code [-2147467259].

Can you list out configuration steps to do at server level?
