The server that currently hosts the primary OMS (OMS1) and therefore also the WebLogic AdminServer for an Enterprise Manager 13.2 installation is scheduled to be decommissioned, but in another data centre there is a secondary OMS (OMS2).
Prior to decommissioning the host running OMS1 it is necessary to migrate the WebLogic AdminServer to OMS2.
Is this possible and if so, is the method documented anywhere?
The Oracle documentation (Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Advanced Installation and Configuration Guide) has this section:
21.6.4.5 Multiple OMS, Server Load Balancer Configured, Primary OMS Recovered on a Different Host
Site hosts multiple OMS instances. OMS instances fronted by a Server Load Balancer. OMS Configuration backed up using emctl exportconfig oms command. Primary OMS on host "A" is lost and needs to be recovered on Host "B".
But it does not cover this scenario exactly.
I have tried editing the WLS domain config.xml and nodemanager.properties plus EMGC_OMS1/emgc.properties and EMGC_OMS2/emgc.properties files, and while things can be started up manually it isn't quite all working.
