EM Not starting

Morning All,

I have a few issues I am hoping you can help me with,

I am really trying to get to grips with EM and would like to see it working, I have had the production server imaged (em not started on production server) and loaded the image onto a developement server for testing.

My problems are as below

1) I know I have java links for em going to the path of the production server which I need to change but dont know how

2) When I try to start the OracleDBConsoleoracle service, I get the following

Error 3: The System Cannot find the path Specified

I guess this is relating to the nmesrvc.exe... the path is correct..

3) I am trying to start em in cmd using the command
emctl start db console and it tells me my SID is not defined so I use the command
Set oracle_sid =ORACLE
and retry starting em and I get the same error?

Your help would be appreciated, although I am newbie ish and a full walk through is appreciated in your responses..
