EM Express - how to install the required database

BooMacJan 29 2020 — edited Feb 7 2020

Hello,

We recently upgraded from Oracle 11..2 to 12.2.0.1.

I am now trying to get Oracle Enterprise Manager up and running, but I'm being led to believe that EM Database Control is deprecated, and is replaced by EM Database Express.

This URL has some good information, but it assumes you have already run DBCA.

I need some help with how to install the database (specific for EM Express) via DBCA. I ran DBCA and i didn't see any choices that seemed obvious to me.

(The old Oracle Enterprise Manager would take care of this for you, while installing)

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Bruce
