ejb entity beans vs cmp entity beans

I've got a question.
What's the difference between ejb entity beans and cmp entity beans in j2ee 5?
I'd like to create a database using derby and netbeans5.5 but I don't know which method should I choose
I also have to create a persistence unit and can somebody tell me what table generation strategy(create, create/delete, none) should I use?
And what about Session Facade wizard when should I use it?
