APEX

Hi,
I've recently began using APEX and I generaly like it very much.

I was (and still are sometimes) using XSQL. Although XSQL has it's drawbacks in the input area, the one thing I like best is that an XSQL page is just one single textfile that you can edit with your favourite editor.

In APEX there is a GUI that sometimes helps you, but IMHO I find that I'm more times hindered than helped by having to click my way through form after form.

My question: is there a simpler way to edit APEX pages?
