Hi,

I'm working on EDI X12 Standard. Our internal format for files uses EDI X12 version 3060 but is Fixed Width (uses standard segment lenghts provided in the standard ) and not delimited (there are no delimiters).
For examples ISA segment looks like :

*ISA00company 00company ---id------ -----id-------- 0908171131U003060000086050P{*

and not

*ISA|00|company |00|company |01|id |09|id |090817|1131|U|00200|000008605|0|P|{*

How can I create a guideline from Standard Librabry of EDI X12 documents NOT using any Delimiter but only fixed lengths.

When I create a guideline from EDI X12 v 3060 say 850, it asks for delimiters.

Any help, workaround will save me from creating custom Position Flat file schemas for standard EDI files.
