890377Oct 5 2011 — edited Oct 27 2011
Hi All,
I am facing an issue while trying to read the EDI file through B2B. PFB the steps I followed.

1. Create ECS file in Oracle B2B Document Editor for the input EDI file
2. Create XSD for the ECS
3. Configure the generated ECS and XSD into Oracle B2B
4. Create Trading partner and agreements

I have provided all the required values in INterchange and group section in document definition and partner profile page.

When I place the file, I am getting the below error in Metrics.

Segment GS (Functional Group Header) at guideline position N/A is missing. This Segment's standard option is 'Mandatory'.{br}{br}This Segment was expected after:{br}{tab}Segment Count: 1{br}{tab}Character: 105 Segment GE (Functional Group Trailer) at guideline position N/A is missing. This Segment's standard option is 'Mandatory'.{br}{br}This Segment was expected after:{br}{tab}Segment Count: 1{br}{tab}Character: 105
Error Level: ERROR_LEVEL_COLLABORATION
Error Severity: ERROR
Error Text : A data segment with 'Mandatory' status is missing. A data segment with 'Mandatory' status is missing.

Kindly help how to resolve this. I am using B2B 11g.

Thanks,
Raghav
