ECM help

I am new to Oracle content management. I have a weblogic domain hosting ECM, SOA and WebCenter managed servers and i have configured the Content Server and DIS.
I require some help with the following;
1. When i log into the CS (as an admin (weblogic user)) and click on the 'Admin Applets' none of the applets load....i have removed MVM and configured internet options to allow JScript etc....browser is IE8 and have tried in FireFox 3.6.
2. LDAP - I understand that WebLogic has an embedded LDAP server....how can i get the common Oracle UCM roles and policies configured in this LDAP and use them create user to check in content, access CS etc....
3. CIS - Can't find an install guide? - client jar file has been located in Oracle_ECM1 home
4. CPS - Can't find an install guide? - file has been located in Oracle_ECM1 home
Any help would be appreciated.
