Java SE (Java Platform, Standard Edition)

I have installed the relevant versions of emf, gef, eclipse and visual editor. Please don't ask about versions! I have installed these using the eclipse plugin manager, but I was unable to install any of the WEP components because of invalid (nonexistent) licences packaged with the downloads. If I open files with the visual editor, the eclipse error log says- "Unable to create view ID org.eclipse.ui.views.Property". It says the problem originates from org.eclipse.ui.workbench. Please, please please help - I have tried so many people and forums - the visual editor program for eclipse seems to be very difficult to bet working. Thanks, Paddy.
