eBusiness Suite 11.5.10 Linux on my Laptop

I want to install 11.5.10 / Linux on my Laptop.

Here are my LAPTOP resources :
1. DELL LAPTOP INSPIRON E1405
2. Intel Core 2 Duo with 2 Gig of RAM
3. Currently I have Windows XP on a 100 Gig Drive.
4. EXTERNAL 150 Gig HARDDRIVE ACOM connection is FIREWIRE or USB

I want a dual boot Linux or WindowsXP. And the 11.5.10 instance on the External Drive.

What Linux should I get Linux 64 or Linux x86.
Where can I get freedownload of this Linux?

First is this instance possible to make??
Can someone guide me??
