EBS Seeded Reports and OBIEE

What are the possible ways for showing EBS seeded reports and custom reports in OBIEE. My customer prefers a single reporting environment(OBIEE). We already have BI Apps installed and analytics functional.

1. one way is connecting obiee admin tool directly to EBS and create reports. But its not a recommended approach as performance will be affected.
2. or designing schema in OBAW, but it itself is a project which will take much effort and time.
3. or migrating Oracle reports to BI publisher and showing them in OBIEE. Is this my only option?
which is the recommended approach?
