dyndns updater from two different locations

Steve Hillson28 hours ago

Good day,

To keep things as simple as possible, let's say that I have two PCs, each located in different towns (home and “vacation home”). I would like to be able to get to each remotely. I currently have a single subscription to DynDNS Pro.

I've been using a single hostname and domain (dyndns.org) for quite some time with great success. Now, I would like to add that second PC (second location) to my account, potentially using a different domain (like ham-radio-op.net).

Can I just add the hostname/domain, set up a updater client on the second PC, and just go from there, or do I need to do other things, like add a zone, buy another plan, or something else?

While I am reasonably technically adept, I've never had to spend any real time “playing” in the DNS space. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

-Steve
