I have used ddns through DynDns, now Oracle, for many years now with no trouble. However, today I am unable to connect with my home network using my assigned hostname in the dyndns-server.com domain. Submitting my hostname to whois returns the message “No match for <my hosthame>.”
My DynDns account page shows that I do have a public ip address associated with my hostname. I am able to connect to my home network when I use that ip address instead of my hostname. To me it looks like my hostname's record in the dyndns-server.com's DNS database got deleted or was not renewed. Can anyone tell me what to do next? Thanks!
