Dynamic Sampling

Hi,

Oracle 10g R2 (10.2.0.4)
Windows XP

I was reading about dynamic sampling and came across the following line in "Performance Tuning" guide (Oracle Doc):

"The number of blocks sampled is the default number of dynamic sampling blocks(32)."

Which parameter is used to set it to 32?

Can we alter it ??

Is this a hidden parameter ??
