dynamic chart size

629079Jan 7 2010 — edited Apr 27 2010
I would like to be able to vary a flash chart width and length dynamically with adjustable values that appear on the page. Based on the discussions I've seen on this, I am looking for a place to take a page item (for example P158_LENGTH) that is then used to insert the length &P158_LENTGH. I've looked at what posts I could find on making chart parameters dynamic, but I have not been able to figure out how to transfer the methodologies for title, etc., over to the chart dimensions.

I'm probably missing something dumb, but I would appreciate some help on this.

I'm using a 2D horizontal range chart, if that helps. The problem is that the data varies over a wide range of data points, so that I'm getting very fat bars with relatively few points and a big chart, or very narrow bars (that almost vanish) for a large number of bars in a chart that is not long enough. The SQL is selecting data points based on an item category that returns a wide range in the number of rows.

TIA
Rick.
