Duplicate SQL IDs showing in Top Activity monitor

Ray_HFeb 19 2013
Hello all.

I'm using EM 11g, running against 11.2.0.2.0.

We've recently had a major database release. All seems to be well, apart from some strange behaviour in EM.

In the Top Activity monitor, a new piece of SQL has its SQL ID appearing 3 times. Strangely, they are showing varying resource usage, which suggests different SQL statements.

But then drilling down into each one, I can see the same stats (same SQL, sessions, plan, cost, execution times etc.) for all three.

Unless some collision has taken place, where cursors are somehow sharing the same SQL ID (and this really doesn't appear to be the case), then I'm stumped as to why this would happen.

Has anyone else experienced this type of thing before? Any thoughts/suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ray
