duplicate PDB in same cdb with point in time recovery

Mustafa KALAYCIMay 10 2023 — edited May 11 2023

Hi,

I am using 19.18 (edit, also this is Standard Edition 2). is it possible, point in time recovery for a pdb with a new name in the same cdb?

Let's say someone did something wrong and I want to recover some data (could be one table or hundred) . in a non cdb environment, I could duplicate database with point in time recovery and get whatever I want. Now, since this is a container database, I don't want to duplicate entire CDB to get some data on just one pdb. So, is there a way to duplicate pdb or create a pdb from backup with a new name in the same cdb?

thanks.
