Duplicate notification comming

Hi all,

We have some workflow's in our production system. suddenly from the past few days many users are complaining that they are receiving the same notifications multiple times. but i have checked in the wf_notification table there was only one notification was triggered by the workflow.

Could you please suggest what could be the issue and how we can solve?
