duplicate for standby using sbt_tape

tad_csOct 27 2011 — edited Oct 27 2011
Hi all,

I'm trying to configure the Oracle Dataguard 10g.
So, I've performed the backup to disk on the primary server
to a mount point NFS.
Now this mount point is visible on standby server.
but I have problems with performance reading (duplicate for standby).
The transfer rate is 1MB/s. This is very slow. The total size of backup pieces is 400GB.
About five days to this operation is very bad.

So, do you have any other solution to duplicate greats databases for oracle Data Guard?
Use of tape ("sbt_tape")?

Somebody can help me about this great problem?

Thank you very much!!!!
