Duplicate emails CCd to myself and group

Dear JES Gurus and SunONE messaging swamis,
I am continuing to bring SUNWmsgsr 6.0 online and comparing it to sendmail. I have put myself in a group, and it works fine. When I email the group and CC myself (which I have configured to do automagically through Thunderbird),
I get two emails delivered to me. How do I configure SUNWmsgsr to send only one message? Any suggestions?
I imagine that it is somewhere in the massive 'webster's dictionary' sized Schema 2.0.
