Duplicate email received by recipient

Sun ONE Messaging Server 6.0 (built Oct 29 2003)
libimta.so 6.0 (built 17:22:17, Oct 29 2003)
SunOS webmail.fsl.org.jm 5.9 Generic_112234-03 i86pc i386 i86pc

I have user and that user is member of email group as well. But if any body send mail to that user and cc he email group as well. Recipient receives two messages.

Is there any configuration to make to get rid of the second copy sent to recipient in this case?
