Dual SCAN on multi homed cluster.

Hi,

we have a 2 node cluster (oraclus1, oraclus2) with popular databases (11R2) on it. And we have two networks in the company. Call it division north (192.168.10.xxx) and division south (10.0.20.xxx). The databases are only available for division north at the moment. South would like to have access to.

Routing the south users through the north network is not an option.

But the servers in the cluster do have NIC's on both networks.

Is it possible to give the cluster two SCAN id's? (ORACLUS-NORTH, ORACLUS-SOUTH)
With the IP addresses
#public (north)
192.168.10.101
192.168.10.102
#VIP (north)
192.168.10.111
192.168.10.112
#SCAN (north)
192.168.10.121
192.168.10.122
192.168.10.123

#public (south)
10.0.20.101
10.0.20.102
#VIP (south)
10.0.20.111
10.0.20.112
#SCAN (south)
10.0.20.121
10.0.20.122
10.0.20.123

This also means we have to configure multiple local- and remote-listeners on the databases.

I can't find anything in the documentation about this situation.
Anybody any idea?

Regards
Maarten
