DSN Not found error for just on machine..
443532May 9 2005 — edited May 12 2005We are running a VB 6.0 application that looks at the TNSNames.ora file that is stored in the same directory as the VB 6.0 executable. This works great for eveyone but this one user.
Originally he was qetting the a dll was corrupt. So we uninstalled the client (8) from his machine and installed the 9i client but put it under the Ora81 directory.
Now we run into the error Data Source name not found and no default driver specified. I even tried to create the Tnsnames entry from the network we are using into his local tnsnames.ora and it still has the same error..
What would be different on his machine?
