dsconf: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interprete

John PrinceFeb 20 2014 — edited Feb 24 2014

Hi,

I have download the recent Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition 11.1.1.7.0 - x86-64 , my base OS is Oracle Linux 6.5. However, when I try to run dsconf util, it gives me "bad ELF" Error. When I checked the dsconf, it is a 32-bit file. Not sure, why Oracle is shipping a 32-bit for 64-bit OS. I did tried other generic workaround, but of no help.

Please let me know anyone has faced this error. Any workaround.

$ ODSEE_ZIP_Distribution/dsee7/bin/dsconf

-bash: ODSEE_ZIP_Distribution/dsee7/bin/dsconf: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory

Thanks ,John
