drop tablespace

Hi, all
My client has a table contain millions extents. After he truncate and drop the table, I tried to coalesce that tablespace. But it looks like take forever.
I am thinking another way to do this.
Anyone know what exactly Oracle do when we drop tablespaces? Or anyone have better idea for it.
