Oracle CRS 11.2.0.4 on Solaris 10. Our OCR is in two ASM disk groups, each with a single SAN disk. (Back end is a mirrored array.) I need to replace these two disks with two new disk on a different array. I simply add the new disk, and then drop the old one. I do this for both OCR disk groups. Done. The ocrcheck command is clean and happy. Problem is, I recycle CRS on one node and it does not come back up. I shut down CRS on the other node, and do a 'ocrconfig -restore', but CRS still won't start.
Ok, so is what I did even remotely possible? Or should I have created two new OCR disk groups and done a 'ocrconfig -replace'?
