Hi,
The following correspondence management app has been developed using Oracle APEX 5 and it does the following: (will ask the question towards the end)
1- A person (say a Secretary) creates a correspondence to his/her manager and uploads a document (scanned image or word document or any other type of docs) requesting Approval/Review/Follow up etc...
2- Hits the "Send" button and the request lands in the manager's incoming mail.
3- The manager logs in from his/her end and.
4- Opens the request, finds the attached document, clicks on it and it should open inside the app's page. AND....
The question is: How can I provide a functionality using Oracle APEX (or any of its plug-ins or with some help from javascript or html5) for the manager to be able to sign the document (on the actual image/document) or stamp "approved"/"rejected" mark (on the actual image/document) or squiggle his/her notes or write text over the document/image and then SAVE those changes (and this is very important) on the actual image/document and then send the request back to sender so that when the initial sender (the secretary) re opens the attachments, he/she finds the changes applied? I need this functionality to work within the app whether it's opened in a desktop, tablet or mobile phone.
