Download of data to " .dat " file in apex

Hi

I have created a form in apex and getting the value through that to database and storing it ...
what i want know is to import those data from the columns to a DAT file ( for example if i have 3 columns , then i want these 3 column to be imported into the dat file seperated by comma or anything which is possible or suitable)
CAN ANY HELP ME IN THIS....
