I'm experiencing multiple issues trying to install the Oracle Enterprise Manager App for Grafana, and I'm hoping someone can help.
Problem 1: Broken Download Links
The download links on https://www.oracle.com/enterprise-manager/technologies/grafana/ are completely non-functional. All version links (oracle-emcc-app-5.0.0, 4.0.1, 3.0.0, etc.) in the certification table are not clickable, even after logging into my Oracle account.
Problem 2: Unhelpful Video Tutorial
I tried following the installation video referenced on the page: "Installing and Configuring Oracle Enterprise Manager App for Grafana" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtwLO58KKE8). Unfortunately, the instructions in this video are not helpful for actually obtaining and installing the plugin when the download links don't work.
What I've tried:
- Logged into my Oracle account
- Tried different browsers
- Attempted to use grafana-cli to install (returns 404 - plugin not in public repository)
- Watched the official installation video (doesn't address broken download links)
What I need:
I'm trying to install oracle-emcc-app-5.0.0 for Grafana 11.5.1 and Oracle Enterprise Manager 24ai Release 1.
Request:
Could Oracle please:
- Fix the broken download links on the official page
- Provide an alternative download location
- Update the documentation/video to address this common issue
- OR make the plugin available through the standard Grafana plugin repository
The entire setup workflow is broken - the documentation points to a download page with broken links, and the video tutorial assumes you can already download the files. This creates an impossible situation for new users.
